Alright people?
How's everyone doing out there? It's been a while since we sent one of these, so allow us to fill you in... so to speak ;)
As you know, we were nominated for the "Best Live" band award at the Exposure Music Awards (Hosted by Cargo, London) last month, and came in as runners up to The Dirty Tricks. Met some great people, bumped into some old friends, and had a spectacular evening with Lifford Shilling, Alonestar and Nina Baker (check them out) thanks to the beer sponsors "Delerium" (It's all in the name - 8.5%) and thank you to everyone who took the time and spent money to vote, we really do appreciate it - we love ya!
The new E.P. is sounding incredible. We're going across to Rockfield Studios (yes that Rockfield again) in the next few weeks for the final mixing sessions with producer, engineer, and lifestyle guru, Nick "Green Dragon" Brine, then it's off to be mastered. As soon as we have the finished product - so will you! Can't wait to get it out to you all...
Talking of the E.P... The launch night will be held at The Brickmaker's, Norwich, March 3rd 2012 with support from The Pocket Godzillas and Mr Robert Brown. It's going to be an incredible evening, and we're playing with the idea of shooting a video on the night, so put it in your diaries now. (Tickets £4adv / £5door - available from the venue or email info@theburningcrows.com and we'll get them out to you). We're also looking for a budding artist / graphic designers / magazines / radio to get involved with the night, so if you're reading and want to get involved - please message us, we'd love to hear from you!
